What is skin?
Your skin is the body’s largest organ, and it’s important that you take care of it. The skin is important because it serves as a protective barrier between the body and the environment, helps regulate body temperature, and contains sensory receptors that allow us to feel touch, pressure, and pain,it stores blood, is responsible for absorption and excretion of vitamins and minerals, and assists in Vitamin D production.
When to apply skincare products?
The biggest thing to remember is that the order in which we apply products is incredibly important since it determines which ingredients are actually absorbed. A good rule of thumb is to apply from thin to thick, starting with water-based products and building up to heavier creams.
We can further break your face routine down into two regimens: daytime and nighttime. The main goal of your daytime skincare routine is to protect your skin from the sun, free radicals, and other elements. To create the most beneficial face routine, you should use the following six products in this order:
- Toner (optional)
- Eye Cream
- SPF (daytime)

3 Reasons Why You Need A Skincare Regimen
1. Having a consistent skincare regimen can help you maintain healthy, glowing skin. Regularly cleansing, exfoliating, and moisturizing can help keep your skin looking its best.
2. A skincare regimen can help prevent breakouts and skin problems. Taking the time to properly cleanse and moisturize can help keep your skin clear and make it less prone to acne and other skin issues.
3. A skincare regimen can help reduce signs of aging. Regularly using antioxidant-rich products and sunscreen can help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and other signs of aging.
Remember, what works best for someone else’s skin might not have the same effect on yours. And what worked for your skin last year might be replaced by a different holy grail in the future! If you do not have a skincare regimen or products to use for your skin care regimen, click the button below.
